This year has marked a significant transformation in the industrial relations realm, thanks to the Secure Jobs, Better Pay Bill. However, as the next phase of changes approaches, staying up-to-date with the evolving employment law landscape may prove challenging for HR professionals. Despite the promise of improved conditions, the phased implementation of the legislation means that it’s easy to lose track of shifting obligations. While some provisions came into force in December 2022, such as the abolition of pay secrecy clauses, several further amendments will be incorporated into the law in the middle of this year.
